many years spent living low
many years spent living low
inside a crater hole
thinking what else could go wrong
since we're living at the lowest
with the damage done
all we knew when we were young
was how to manage on a planet
full of crater holes
almost everybody knows
how difficult it is to find a footing
and it rained down on the lawn
we swore those stones were from above
and we waited on the storm
to close but it continued on
truth and time walk hand in hand
we spent our time searching out
a hidden promise land
carving gouges in our tread
we soon noticed that
those holes were everywhere
